Today’s quick tip is something I feel is typically overlooked by business owners, mainly because they just have seemingly more important things to think about. Well, that’s what we’re here for!

Here’s a little nugget that’ll protect you from cyber scum (aka internet hackers). Ready?

Like underwear… passwords should be changed often!

Simple right?  Of course.  But it’s rarely done on a consistent basis across all of the online resources you use daily to run your business.  I would suggest changing all of your passwords monthly.  Although that may seem excessive, it’s worth it to be protected.  I use an online password manager that easily lets me keep up with my passwords, so, I don’t actually have to remember them all.

If you work with an assistant this is a great task to delegate and add to their monthly “To Do” list!
